For three decades, our family has been designing and creating gardens across North Yorkshire, passing down skills, knowledge and a love of the craft from one generation to the next. That family heritage shapes everything we do at Thyme 2 — from the care we put into every design to the pride we take in building spaces that are made to be enjoyed for years to come. It also inspires the coaching side of our business, where we share the experience, lessons and practical knowledge gained over decades in the industry to help others grow in confidence, communication and business. For us, Thyme 2 is about creating something lasting — in gardens, in people and across generations.

Our Roots

Decades of Craft and Care

Based in Ripon, Thyme 2 has grown from three decades of family experience in landscaping and garden construction across North Yorkshire, originally operating as Marwood Landscapes. What began in 1996 has developed through years of hands-on experience, practical knowledge and a genuine love of creating outdoor spaces.

Today, that experience is being passed through the next generation of our family. The skills, standards and values we’ve built our reputation on remain at the heart of everything we do — from the first design ideas through to construction, planting and the finishing details.

That same experience now extends beyond the garden itself. Through Thyme 2 Coach, we also share the lessons learned from 30 years in business, helping others in the landscaping industry develop their communication, confidence and businesses.

Jasmine Drury

At the heart of the business is Antony. At 14 years of age he started working at a plant nursery. That's where his love of gardens began. He brings these decades of passion and knowledge into every project he completes.

Olivia started working with us during school holidays. Now she runs her own side of the business; Thyme 2 Maintain

Olivia Marshall

Jasmine started working with us in school holidays and has gone on to drive 13 tonne diggers! Whenever there’s groundwork involved, Jasmine will be there.

Nathan started out working life in his family’s building business. After marrying Jasmine it only seemed logical to join us here at Thyme2!
